3. No Guarantee of Results
Training outcomes vary based on many factors, including the dog’s age, breed, temperament, health, prior training, consistency at home, and owner follow-through. While we strive to provide high-quality training and care, we do not guarantee specific training, performance, behavioral, breeding, or sale results.
Any descriptions of training goals, progress, potential, or dog suitability are opinions based on our experience and should not be interpreted as guarantees.
4. Evaluations, Acceptance, and Right to Refuse Service
We may require an evaluation before accepting a dog into training, boarding, or related programs. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services at our discretion, including if:
- A dog presents safety concerns;
- A dog is ill or appears unfit for participation;
- Required records are not provided;
- A client fails to comply with our policies;
- The dog’s needs are not appropriate for the requested program.
5. Client Responsibilities
By using our services, you represent that:
- You are the legal owner of the dog or have authority to make decisions for the dog;
- The information you provide to us is accurate and current;
- Your dog is healthy enough to participate in training, boarding, travel, or related activities;
- Your dog is current on vaccinations and preventative care as required by us;
- You will disclose any known aggression, bite history, medical concerns, behavioral issues, or special handling needs.
You are responsible for providing complete and accurate information about your dog. Failure to do so may result in suspension or termination of services.
6. Health, Vaccinations, and Veterinary Care
For the safety of all dogs in our care, we may require proof of vaccinations, veterinary history, and/or preventative care before services begin. You agree to maintain your dog’s vaccinations and health requirements in accordance with our current policies.
If your dog becomes ill, injured, or requires veterinary attention while in our care, you authorize us to seek reasonable veterinary care if you cannot be reached promptly. You agree that all veterinary costs, medications, emergency transport costs, and related expenses are your responsibility.
7. Risks Involving Animals
You understand that working with, handling, boarding, and training dogs involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:
- Illness;
- Injury;
- Stress;
- Escape;
- Interaction with other animals;
- Exposure to outdoor conditions, water, birds, gunfire, decoys, or training equipment;
- Unpredictable animal behavior.
By using our services, you acknowledge and accept these inherent risks.
8. Limitation of Liability for Services
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Oak Creek Retrievers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to:
- Your use of this website;
- Training, boarding, or handling of your dog;
- Injuries, illness, loss, or death of any dog, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct;
- Delays, interruptions, or inability to provide services.
Our total liability for any claim relating to our website or services shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you to us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
9. Boarding and Training Policies
Dogs enrolled in boarding or training programs must meet our intake requirements and remain suitable for participation. Program length, progress, and completion timelines may vary.
We reserve the right to:
- Adjust training methods within our professional judgment;
- Modify schedules as needed;
- Separate dogs for safety or health reasons;
- End a program early if a dog is unsafe, medically unfit, or otherwise unsuitable.
Owners are responsible for maintaining training after the dog leaves our care. Results may diminish without continued reinforcement.
10. Puppies, Started Dogs, and Stud Services
Any puppies, started dogs, or stud-related information provided on this website is subject to change without notice and does not constitute a binding offer.
Availability, pricing, deposits, breeding arrangements, guarantees, health terms, and transfer conditions, if any, will be governed by separate written agreements where applicable. Unless expressly stated in a separate signed contract:
- No specific breeding, competition, hunting, or performance outcome is guaranteed;
- No dog sale, reservation, or breeding arrangement is final until confirmed by us;
- We reserve the right to refuse a sale, placement, or breeding arrangement.
11. Deposits, Payments, and Refunds
Any deposits or payments for services, reservations, or dog purchases may be subject to separate written terms provided at the time of booking or sale.
Unless otherwise stated in writing:
- Payment terms are determined by Oak Creek Retrievers;
- Deposits may be non-refundable;
- Missed appointments, cancellations, or early removals from a program may affect refund eligibility.

12. Appointments and Scheduling
Visits and consultations may be by appointment only. Submitting an inquiry through the website does not guarantee a booking or reservation. All appointments are subject to confirmation.
